International Analytical Group, Inc. (IAG) was established in 1998 as an independent project management and QA/QC firm for environmental analytical services by our president, Marino Fernandez. The idea behind the creation of IAG was to provide independent project management and QA/QC services to environmental clients that would allow them to receive the technical support they needed with the fast turn around time and low prices they expected. Driven by the needs of our clients, our services have grown to include third party environmental laboratory data review and data validation, expert testimony, laboratory audits, sampling and analysis, and a wide variety of environmental laboratory consulting services.
2007-2008 IAG was contracted by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) to provide sampling and analytical services for the characterization of sediments, surface water, and groundwater in sites being considered as impoundments as part of the Comprehensive Everglades Restoration Plan (CERP).
2004-2008 IAG worked with a team of U.S. and local consultants for a major oil company in a multi-national project in Central America, the Caribbean, and South America involving fast turn-around environmental site assessments.
2004-2008 IAG was part of the Weston Bean Joint Venture team for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers in the Miami River Dredging Project to monitor water quality in accordance with a permit issued by the Florida Department of Environmental Protection (FDEP).
2006 IAG was contracted by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) to provide third party data validation services for an aquifer storage and recovery (ASR) regional study conducted as part of the Comprehensive Everglades Restoration Plan (CERP).
2005 IAG teamed with a major U.S. laboratory to build, equip, staff, and certify an environmental laboratory in a remote location in Latin America.
2004 IAG obtained a General Services Administration (GSA) Multiple Award Schedule.
2002 IAG assisted the Water Quality Division of the South Florida Water Management District with the review and revision of three chapters of the Quality Assurance Systems Requirements (QASR) Plan for the Comprehensive Everglades Restoration Program (CERP).
